Preparing for Surgery
- Arrange transportation to and from the surgery center.
- The facility will call you to complete preregistration. This is when you will be provided information about fasting requirements and medication instructions before surgery. You willl also be given a surgery time.
- Preparing your home for post-operative recovery.
- Call your insurance to learn abour your insurance coverage and benefits.
Day of Surgery
- Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and a form of payment for your surgical copay and premium lens fee.
- Expect to be at our center for a total of 2 hours. This is includes pre-operative care, operation time, and post operative care.
- Information about anesthesia and what to expect during the procedure.
- Family and visitor guidelines and waiting area details.
After Surgery
- Brief explanation of common sensations after the procedure.
- Information on post-operative appointments and follow-up care with your doctor.
- Detailed instructions for caring for your eyes at home.
